Livid Skate started with Oscar shaping skate decks in his garage in 2014. Inspired by the shapes and artwork from the 80s him and his mates collaborated with featured local, national and international artists on decks exhibited at pop up events showcasing art, photography and live music all around Perth, the South West and Bali. In 2018 the Livid Skate Cafe was born in the heart of Scarborough, giving Livid a permanent space to hold exhibitions and music events in the Livid Laneway. The Fishbowl Gallery followed soon after adjacent to the cafe, enabling exhibitions to live on after, forming a community space to hold a variety of events. More recently they have opened Kokomo's by Livid Skate, a cafe (soon to be small bar) in the heart of Fremantle. Livid as a whole is about bringing people together for good times, great coffee and dancing. Whether this be through skateboarding, live music events or simply a coffee date with a mate.
